Cooking Plant-Based Across Cultures
January 3, 2024 @ 2:30 pm - February 11, 2025 @ 6:00 pm
Free
Plant-based eating is becoming more popular now than ever and new reports show culturally diverse shoppers are experimenting more with plant-based foods. Are you curious about vegetarian, vegan and plant-based diets and how these fit into a variety of cultural dishes? Join your Stop & Shop Grove Hall registered dietitian in celebration of cultural plant-based foods and their contribution to health and wellness. In this cooking demonstration, we will discuss how plant-based eating does not have to be an ‘all-or-nothing’ approach and share tips for simple swaps to get started.
We will cook up delicious dishes from:
- February – Thailand
- March – Colombia
- April – Haiti
- May – Peru
- June – India
- July – Japan
- August – Ghana
- September – Cape Verde
- October – Dominican Republic
- November – Vietnam
- December – Congo
Note: All classes will take place in the Grove Hall Stop & Shop Community Wellness Space unless the class title indicates (virtual) in which those classes will be conducted online over Zoom.
Participants will receive a separate link for the classes conducted virtually.
