I WIN! A Workshop Series for Girls of Color to Improve Self-Esteem

July 9, 2025 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

This is a virtual workshop series to support BIPOC girls ages 11-15 to develop positive self esteem. It will be held Wednesdays July 9 – August 13, 2025 from 1-2:30 pm and will be led by Nejwa Hamad, LCSW. Studies show that girls of Color often experience low self esteem due to images they are exposed to and negative peer reaction, and they tend to develop low self esteem in connection to  their hair, skin tone, and body shape. I WIN! Is designed to support BIPOC girls in building healthy relationships with others that reflect their identities while also improving their relationship with themselves. Historically, girls who participate in I WIN! share that they feel more empowered and confident about themselves! Participants are not required to be in MA to attend this series. Participation materials will be mailed and payment plans are available! Parents/Guardians, sign up children today – spots are filling fast – https://forms.gle/5CdFS9MyQwEqgjiz8 – Flyer is attached for review and distribution.
