Life After Loss: Support Group
December 9 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am
DeeDee’s Cry’s weekly virtual support group, Life After Loss, provides a safe, compassionate, and understanding space for individuals who have lost a loved one to suicide. The group’s Five Pillars are:
Foster Connection: Create a sense of community among participants, allowing them to share their experiences and feelings with others who truly understand their journey.
2. Promote Healing: Offer emotional support and coping strategies to navigate the unique grief and challenges that follow a suicide loss.
3. Reduce Isolation: Help participants feel less alone in their grief by connecting with others who share similar experiences.
4. Provide Resources: Share information and tools to support healing and resilience, including mental health resources and education about suicide loss.
5. Encourage Hope: Empower participants to move forward with hope and find meaning and purpose after their loss.
Life After Loss is designed to honor the memory of those lost while supporting survivors in their path toward healing and understanding.
