Black Addiction Counselor Education (BACE)

The Black Addiction Counselor Education (BACE) program is a workforce development program for Black Professionals seeking certification and licensure in the field of substance use disorder. The goal of the BACE program is to increase the number of Black professionals with addiction treatment credentials; to increase the Black community’s access to culturally competent care, and to increase the capacity of the publicly funded system to serve Black people while improving treatment outcomes.
